SOFTWARE OPERATION 2.1 IP Camera Tool When the Device has been mounted properly, you can double click the Icon “IP Camera Tool” and a dialog box as Figure 1.9 will pop up. Mobile phone doesn’t support ActiveX, only some basic functions can be available in this mode. It supports Iphone, Smart phone, 3G phone etc.

The Host must be the camera’s DDNS domain name, and without “it’s not the Lan IP address. If you have several cameras, you can use the same DDNS domain name, just set different port number for each different camera.

Connecting to your Apexis. IP camera to connect to your Apexis IP camera. If VLC or FFMPEG options are available we recommend you try those first as they will often be faster and include audio support. If you don't have VLC installed (or are experiencing problems with the VLC plugin) you may be able to use the same URL under the FFMPEG source type (VLC is based on FFMPEG). The settings for Apexis cameras are built right into our - click 'Add' then 'IP camera with wizard' to automatically setup your Apexis cameras.
Start typing in the 'Make' box to find your camera. If your camera is not listed in iSpy then click 'Get Latest List' when on the add camera wizard. If you need to modify the URL then add or edit the Apexis camera in iSpy and you can modify the connection type and URL in the video source dialog (button is top of the first tab). Tip: Click a model to generate a URL for your camera.
