Hello, I noticed that the following problem on mk KS9000, firmware 1165. The multiple settings are greyed out (not available for further intefaction) in the settings menu, those are: - Broadcasting - System - Start setup - System - Expect settings - Language - Support - Software update - Support - Self Diagnosis - maybe some more. When i try to select either of those settings i get pop-up saying 'This function isn't available.' It's always the same set of settings that is disabled. I managed to find a small 'trick' to make them enabled again - hold off button for long time till TV goes into deep reboot/shutdown. After that settings seem to be enabled again. However after few turn on/offs after that, the settings are greyed out again.
Samsung Smart Tv Software Upgrade
I tried resetting my TV to factory settings but that didn't help, so I blame the firmware for bugs. This is a very nasty bug, hoping to get a quick reply about that.
Best wishes, Stanislav. Hello, thanks for reply. As a matter of fact it only does not work with some input sources (e.g. Youtube application). When I switch to TV-source those options become available again. That is something I have discovered myself, as well as got confirmed via the call-center.
Despite the fact that there is a way around to get to those settings, I don't see any reason why it does not work for all the course and therefore strongly believe it's a very confusing user experience issue that must be resolved. Best, Stanislav.
Can't update the firmware on my Samsung Smart TV.. It finds the USB Key but still the Support -> Software Update Menu is still greyed out? How am I supposed to. I want to upgrade the firmware on my Samsung smart tv, but on the tv menu the software upgrade option is disabled. How to upgrade?
